Chicken Stew (Casserole)

Recipe video above. This is the faster way to make a chicken stew (casserole) that's done in an hour but tastes like it's been simmering all day! The trick is to use boneless thigh fillets, beef instead of chicken broth, a good slug of red wine and BACON!

150 g Bacon
750 g Chicken thighs, boneless skinless
350 g Baby potatoes
2 Bay leaves, dried
3 Carrots
2 Celery stalks
3 Garlic cloves (, minced (1 tbsp))
150 g Green beans
200 g Mushrooms, large
1 Onion
1 1/2 tsp Thyme, dried
400 g Tomato, canned
Canned goods
3 cups Beef stock/broth
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Baking & spices
4 tbsp Flour
1 tsp Salt and pepper
Oils & vinegars
1/2 tbsp Olive oil
Beer, wine & spirits
1 1/2 cups Red wine
